With over 15 years of experience in Cyber Security and IT, Tamlynn has navigated a dynamic career path, transitioning from individual contributor roles to senior leadership positions. Her tech journey began five years after moving to the UK from South Africa, where she was a youth minister and counsellor. At AXA Wealth, she discovered a proficiency for application and IT risk, governance, and controls. After working in various industries, Tamlynn honed her skills in cybersecurity and tech leadership, laying the foundation for starting her own SaaS business aimed at simplifying cybersecurity for SMEs and helping passionate individuals enter the industry. In 2021, Tamlynn returned to full-time employment at HBK where she is now the Director of Cloud, Service, and Cyber. To give back to the industry that has shaped her career, as well as mentoring others, Tamlynn founded Empower Authentic Coaching. She is passionate about helping technical leaders embrace their authentic selves to advance both their careers and the strategic direction of their businesses. Her approach is rooted in authenticity and strategic growth, offering tailored coaching and consulting services that focus on real-world challenges and opportunities. Tamlynn's expertise extends to executive and team workshops, speaking engagements, and advisory roles.
